GREECE. Hellenic Duty Free Shops has unveiled a range of renovated stores at Athens International Airport. These include its Perfumes & Cosmetics and Folli Follie outlet, new units for the Hellenic Gourmet, Cava and Luxury concepts, plus a Juicy Couture store.
The Perfumes & Cosmetics & Folli Follie unit is described as a “luminous, ultramodern environment” with a shop-in-shop approach to the key categories.
Among the major brands on offer are Dior, Estée Lauder, Bvlgari, Chanel, Lancôme, Giorgio Armani, Calvin Κlein, Dolce & Gabbana, Clinique, Folli Follie, Burberry, Lacoste, L’Oréal, YSL, Gucci, La Prairie, Kenzo, Hermès, Guerlain, Givenchy, Clarins, Versace, DKNY, Prada, Nina Ricci, Hugo Boss, Biotherm, Cacharel, Moschino, Escada, Shiseido, Ralph Lauren, Azzaro, Chloé, Marc Jacobs, Valentino, Vera Wang, Lalique, GF Ferré, Missoni, Fendi, Issey Miyake and MAC, plus a unit representing the Folli Follie Spring/Summer 2010 Collection.

Hellenic Gourmet showcases the best of Greek food and wines |
Hellenic Gourmet offers an array of Greek products, in particular food and wines, chosen by the retailer’s experts in each field.
“This is an ideal destination not only to have a last delicious taste of Greece but also to bring a little bit of Greece back home,” said Hellenic Duty Free. In the range are well-known meze products, sauces, dips, condiments, rare cheeses aged in wine, Greek chevres, flavoured and stuffed olives, extra virgin olive oils, artisanal vinegars, local charcuterie such as leek-and-orange-studded sausages, wild boar salamis, a pastourma and bison confit called kavourma, honey, confections from spoon sweets to baklava and a wide selection of regional Greek wines and spirits.
The retailer’s Luxury outlet is described as having a “minimalist” look but with a “rich variety of products”, including jewellery, watches and sunglasses from brand names ranging from Montblanc to Lalaounis to Swarovski.

Cava houses a range of confectionery, tobacco products and liquor, many with special travel retail packaging. Among the brands here are Metaxa, Toblerone, Johnnie Walker, Milka, Chivas, Lindt, Absolut, Nestlé, Smarties, Ballantine’s, Smirnoff, Bacardi, Gordon’s, Martini, Cutty Sark, Dimple, Grant’s, Camus, Leonidas, Godiva, Teacher’s, Campari, Dom Pérignon, Drambuie and Boutari.
Juicy Couture is the latest shop to open at Athens and follows the recent agreement that allowed Elmec Sport (like Hellenic Duty Free, a Folli Follie subsidiary) to exclusively import and offer the US brand’s collections in Greece, Bulgaria and Romania.
