‘Hello Summer’: Heinemann launches seasonal promotion across European stores

EUROPE. Gebr. Heinemann has launched a summer-themed promotional campaign at more than 30 European airports.

The retailer said “special drinks, sweet temptations and summery skincare products” would be available at Heinemann Duty Free & Travel Value shops. The ‘Hello Summer’ promotion will also feature decorative elements such as “blue skies, sunshine, fluffy clouds and surfboards”. It runs until the end of August.

Additionally, a Caribbean-themed beach bar will be set up at Frankfurt and Hamburg airports. It will feature a Captain Morgan ship showcasing Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold at a promotional ‘Summer Deal’ price. A ‘wheel of fortune’ competition will give passengers the chance to win instant prizes such as sunglasses and wristbands, with a top prize of a trip to the Caribbean for two.

Gebr. Heinemann said it was showcasing selected perfumes and cosmetics as part of the Hello Summer promotion. These include Biotherm products such as Lait Solaire Face and Body Milk with sun protection factor, Lait Oligo-Thermal After Sun Milk and L’Eau eau de toilette in a 50ml travel size. Travel exclusive packs of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Miniatures will also be offered.

The Hello Summer campaign can also be experienced digitally at www.heinemann-dutyfree.com, according to Gebr. Heinemann, as well as on its app and various newsletters. The campaign will be promoted on the Heinemann Duty Free Facebook page and direct mailshots to Heinemann & Me customers. Holders of a Heinemann & Me loyalty card will receive discount vouchers redeemable on purchases to the end of August.
