FRANCE. Herita Marzotto Wine Estates, formerly Santa Margherita Wine Group, is set to showcase its travel retail-exclusive Santa Margherita Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Red Village, H18).

At the show, the company will also focus on high-profile activations with key European travel retailers to support product launches and drive premium engagement in the channel.
Ahead of Cannes, the family-owned producer announced Carbon Neutrality Certification across its entire vineyard estate, marking a major milestone for the company.

Herita Marzotto Wine Estates Export Director Giacomo Marzotto said: “2025 has been an exceptional year for us. We celebrated our 90th anniversary with a major rebrand, and now we have achieved a remarkable first for the Italian wine sector with Carbon Neutrality Certification.
“This milestone underlines our deep commitment to sustainability and good practices, while setting a benchmark for others in the industry. To say we are proud is an understatement.
“That pride extends to our latest launch – the Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG – created exclusively for travel retail, a channel of growing importance for Herita Marzotto. I believe this Prosecco highlights our commitment to the sector and paves the way for future exclusive expressions.”
Building on its strong showing at TFWA Asia Pacific, the Italian winemaker is again presenting its limited-edition premium sparkling wine.
With its refined character, the wine embodies “the Venetian attitude”, showcasing sustainable packaging and label designs that capture the essence of both the natural landscapes and the distinct aesthetics of Venice.

Giacomo Marzotto added, “This release conveys not just exclusivity and authenticity, but also cultural depth and refined design. It offers travellers the chance to bring home a piece of enduring Italian beauty and craftsmanship.”
He noted the impact of airport activations already running at Rome Fiumicino International and at Venice Marco Polo International with Lagardère Travel Retail, and with Avolta at Milan Malpensa.

The campaign is amplified by brand ambassadors and live tastings, supported by two dedicated LED walls at Marco Polo International Airport showcasing the Santa Margherita travel-exclusive limited edition.
Plans are underway to extend distribution to select international markets.

The group will host tastings featuring its new Prosecco alongside top selections from ten estates, representing diverse regions from Italy’s terroirs to Oregon’s Roco Winery.
The group will also celebrate its Gold Medal win at The Drinks Business Global Travel Retail Masters 2025 for its travel retail-exclusive Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut. ✈
