US. HMSHost has opened the first airport location of restaurant brand Carrabba’s Italian Grill at Tampa International.
Additional new dining and retail shops now serving Tampa Airport’s travellers include Talie, Brookstone, Harley-Davidson, Destination Time, Brioche Dorée, Baja Fresh, United Colors of Benetton and Tommy Bahama/Vera Bradley.
“Representing outstanding enhancements to our landside restaurant and retail offerings, these new brands are a welcome addition for Tampa International Airport travellers, meeters and greeters to enjoy,” said Tampa International Airport Executive Director Louis Miller.

Other pre-security traveller outlets at Tampa Airport include TGI Friday’s, Starbucks Coffee, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Burger King, Mindworks, Wilsons Leather, InMotion Entertainment and The Florida Shop.
On average more than 100,000 travellers visit Tampa International Airport daily, totalling more than 19 million passengers last year. In 2009 the city of Tampa will host Super Bowl XLIII. Travellers can find official Super Bowl merchandise at HMSHost’s pre-security outpost, Sports Scene.
