HMSHost gains contract extensions at Seattle-Tacoma airport

US. HMSHost Corporation has been granted extensions to its food & beverage and duty free contracts at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

The extended duty free contract will run through 2009 and the food and beverage contract to 2014.

As part of the extension agreements, HMSHost and its subtenants will undertake extensive renovations in more than 20 spaces throughout the airport.

“HMSHost would like to thank the Port of Seattle for the opportunity to continue serving Sea-Tac International,” said HMSHost president and ceo John McCarthy. “Their vision and innovative spirit have created an outstanding concessions program, and we look forward to even greater success in the future.”

HMSHost senior vice-president of business development Elie Maalouf added: “Our ambitious renovation plans will complement Sea-Tac’s spectacular new Pacific Marketplace and expanded concourse development.”
