USA. HMSHost has taken over operations of six restaurants at Piedmont Triad International Airport from SSP.
The Autogrill company will continue to operate the existing brands while renovating and rotating in new restaurants throughout 2016 at the Greensboro airport.
The changes are the result of HMSHost being awarded a 10-year contract to run the airport’s dining locations, and the existing concepts will all eventually be replaced.
PGA Tour Grill and The Great American Bagel will open in the pre-security Main Terminal, while The Local @ GSO and the airport’s first Starbucks will be located post-security in the North Concourse. The South Concourse will feature ACC American Café and a second Starbucks location.
“We could not be more proud to partner with Piedmont Triad International Airport and to have begun serving guests there this weekend,” said HMSHost President & CEO Steve Johnson.
“Our team is excited and eager to elevate the dining experience for passengers and we look forward to delivering our unique brand of world-class, award-winning service to Greensboro travellers for years to come.”
