US. HMSHost has unveiled several new food & beverage brands at Dayton International Airport – the result of a five-year contract extension awarded to the Autogrill subsidiary last year.
Post-security travellers to Concourse C can enjoy two new options, including Starbucks, offering espresso-based drinks, brewed coffees and Frappuccinos, in addition to a variety of fresh pastries, sandwiches and salads.
12th Fairway Bar & Grill caters to the golf aficionado and features murals of area golf courses. This full-service restaurant is a combination of a European golf clubhouse and an American bar and grill. Menu options include a selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items such as traditional sandwiches, entrées and salads, plus a full bar specialising in Scotches.
On Concourse B, post security, Quiznos Sub offers a variety of healthy menu choices and the ability to “˜tailor’ their sandwiches. Along with subway sandwiches packed with deli meats and vegetables, menu selections include freshly packaged grab-and-go salads, such as Classic Cobb, Chicken Caesar and Roasted Chicken with Honey Mustard. A “˜comfort food’ menu includes chicken noodle soup, corn chowder and chili.
Pre-security, local favourite Boston Stoker Gourmet Coffee has updated its existing main terminal location and now offers an expanded menu and a new seating area. The coffee brand presents its signature collection of coffees, including the best selling Custom House Blend.
Director of Aviation for the City of Dayton Iftikhar Ahmad said: “HMSHost has delivered on its promise to make the traveller’s day better at Dayton International Airport. These new restaurant brands are what travellers told us they want, and we are very pleased to offer them to pre- and post-security visitors, whether they’re arriving or departing the City of Dayton.”
HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Stephen Douglas said: “An airport known as the birthplace of aviation deserves to be distinguished by excellence in service to travellers, highlighted by an outstanding food & beverage concessions programme. We are privileged to partner with Dayton International Airport to provide its travellers such an experience with the dining brands they prefer.”
