US. HMSHost, Vino Volo and The Paradies Shops were among the big winners at the annual Airport Revenue News awards in Las Vegas on Tuesday night. The awards recognise North America’s leading airport concession programmes, travel retailers and airport food & beverage concessionaires.
Best Overall Retailer (Large Airports) was The Paradies Shops. Paradies also captured the award for Retailer with the Highest Regard for Customer Service on the night.
HMSHost won Best Food & Beverage Operator, as well as a number of other awards, including Best New F&B Concept (for its Varsity outlet) and Best Customer Service (Large Airports).

The Paradies Shops team mark the Best Overall Retailer accolade |
Leading premium airport bar operator Vino Volos scooped six awards on the night, including an unprecedented double as Best Overall Retailer and Best Overall F&B Concessionaire (each in the Small Airports category). It also won Retailer with the Highest Regard for Customer Service (Small Airports).

Hudson Group won Best News & Gift Retailer and XpresSpa won Best Passenger Services, while LS travel retail won Best New Speciality Retail Concept.
There were also two personal awards, where leading airport directors were recognised for their services to the industry. These were Elaine Roberts of Columbus Airport and Kent George of Fort Lauderdale Airport.
