CAMBODIA. Leading airport advertising specialist International Airport Advertising Corporation (IAAC) has secured a ten-year contract to manage interior and outdoor media spaces at the new Techo International Airport in Phnom Penh.
Scheduled to open in 2025 the airport is expected to become Cambodia’s primary gateway, enhancing the country’s global connectivity.
The advertising award was made in August and represents a milestone in the development of Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising company IAAC, which has airport media management operations across Europe and Asia.

IAAC Cambodia said it plans “an array of spectacular new and strategically placed media assets throughout the airport”.
IAAC CEO Jonathan Goldsmid said: “This agreement opens new horizons for IAAC’s operations in Asia. This is one of the highest profile and most important projects in Cambodia, with the eyes of the world soon to be on the opening of the Techo International Airport. I am confident that brands will be very impressed with our latest portfolio of media solutions.
“We plan to introduce some spectacular new technologies and solutions that will provide advertisers with unparalleled exposure to the exclusive but increasingly elusive domestic and international C-Suite decision maker and high net worth leisure traveller audiences that pass through airports day in and day out. This concession solidifies IAAC Cambodia’s position as one of the leading players in the premium OOH advertising market in Cambodia and demonstrates the company’s commitment to elevating the OOH advertising industry.”

Cambodia Airport Investment Company (CAIC) Director Oknha Charles Vann commented: “We are delighted to partner IAAC Cambodia as the advertising concessionaire for Techo International Airport. We were wowed by their innovative media plans and trust that they will deliver best-in-class advertising solutions for Techo International Airport. We believe that IAAC will position Techo International Airport as the medium of choice for brands and companies who wish to advertise in Cambodia.”
The greenfield airport is being developed by CAIC, a joint venture between the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation and Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation. It is built on a 2,600-hectare site with an investment of US$1.5 billion. In its initial phase, passenger capacity will be up to 13 million a year.
As reported, Lagardère Travel Retail, in partnership with HSC Group, has signed a 12-year contract with CAIC to manage retail and dining operations at Techo International Airport. ✈
