SOUTH KOREA. Some 500 Chinese influencers have taken part in a live broadcast at Lotte Duty Free’s downtown duty free stores in Seoul.
As reported, Lotte partnered with ecommerce platform Taobao, part of Alibaba Group, to maximise awareness of the five-hour broadcast with Chinese consumers. The event promoted Korean beauty brands including Sulwhasoo, Primera and IOPE.
A spokesperson for Lotte commented: “Lotte Duty Free will do its best to promote cosmetics and other domestic brands to the world on the basis of know-how accumulated over 40 years and [using our] global infrastructure.”
