Our regular feature, brought to you in association with Strange Nature Gin from New Zealand, celebrates memorable scenes, moments, launches and campaigns related to the global aviation and travel retail sphere.

INDIA. Our images selection today comes from Cochin International Airport with a preview of the magnificent 0484 Aero Lounge, set to open for business this weekend (1 September).

The airport, one of the country’s busiest for international traffic, serves the city of Kochi, Kerala in southwestern India.

The 0484 Aero Lounge, which takes its name from the Kerala district Ernakulam’s STD code, captures the area’s unique beauty

Airport operator Cochin International Airport Limited is promising users of the new lounge “a world-class airport experience at budget rates”.

Inviting guests to “indulge in the art of affordable luxury”, the 50,000sq ft pre-security lounge offers 41 guest rooms (including four suites), boardrooms, co-working spaces, a gym, a spa, a library and a large café lounge.

The various facilities are available at hourly rates and are accessible to all airport passengers and visitors.

The lounge will be officially opened this weekend by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
