Images of the Day: EVERRICH Duty Free team members reveal peak conditioning for #KickCancerThon : Moodie Davitt Report

Today’s images are courtesy of Taiwanese travel retailer EVERRICH Duty Free which, as already reported, is mounting (in the case below, literally) a full-scale, company-wide support of #KickCancerThon*, the global and localised fundraiser and visibility campaign for cancer research {for our latest #KickCancerThon, click here}.

Earlier this month we reported how Claire Ma, Senior Manager with the retailer’s brilliant Public Affairs department, had got things underway by hiking to Yushan (Mount Jade), the highest peak in Taiwan at an elevation of 3,952 metres.

Today we can reveal that Claire was not alone. In a Facebook post, Claire writes lyrically in English and Chinese:

From the highest peak in Taiwan,

we stand together for #KickCancerThon.

To everyone fighting cancer:

you are not alone.

We walk with you.

*How to participate in #KickCancerThon

We are asking the travel retail and aviation communities to join us in raising funds and visibility for cancer research or cancer treatment causes around the world.
It is a classic ‘Think Global, Act Local’ initiative.
Teams of any size (1 to 100) simply need to complete the marathon distance of 42.195 kilometres (26 miles & 385 yards) between them.
The marathon can involve any means of athletic (or non-athletic) endeavour – running, walking, swimming, rowing, cycling, dog-walking, paragliding, roller-skating, sailing, surfing, sky diving, you name it!
Or any other creative fund-raising activity for your chosen cancer cause. You choose which cause you raise money for and how you raise it. Just keep us posted on your activities and final fundraising total.

We encourage teams to participate in Instagrammable locations around the world and in suitable attire that reflects the passion, vibrancy and multi-national spirit of our industry.

Most activities will take place in February 2026 but if you want to choose an alternative earlier or later timing, as some individuals and companies have done already, no problem! The fight against cancer knows no time limits.
