Brown-Forman has named Oscar Camargo as Director, Global Travel Retail, effective 1 October

FRANCE. Brown-Forman Global Travel Retail (GTR) will present new product launches, portfolio developments and immersive brand experiences at the upcoming  TFWA World Exhibition (Beach Village 01, Stand 11).

The company has also announced the appointment of Oscar Camargo as Director Global Travel Retail, effective 1 October.

Camargo, who will report directly to Vice President Managing Director India, Middle East, Africa GTR, Eurasia Matthew Hodges, will lead the continued growth and strategic development of Brown-Forman’s travel retail business worldwide.

Hodges said: “We are delighted to welcome Oscar into this important leadership role. His deep knowledge of the channel and passion for building brands in travel retail will help us continue to strengthen our strong position in Premium and Super Premium+ spirits globally.

“Having held important roles within Brown-Forman GTR for almost eight years, Oscar brings invaluable experience and continuity to our next chapter of growth. Cannes provides the perfect stage to share this news as we look ahead to the future.”

Jack Daniel’s will reinforce its leadership position in American whiskey with new retail visibility concepts and consumer activations designed to elevate brand presence and engagement. The brand will also introduce Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Heritage Barrel and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Blackberry.

Woodford Reserve will showcase the exclusive Double XO release and “distillery-favourite” Double Double Oaked, launching in 2026.

Single malt whisky The Glendronach is expanding its existing travel retail portfolio with the debut of its House Editions range. The collection comprises a travel retail-exclusive whiskies trilogy inspired by Seville, Venice and Paris and brought to life through cask selections curated by Master Blender Dr Rachel Barrie.

In addition, The Glendronach will unveil 30 and 40 Year Old expressions, underscoring the brand’s sherry cask heritage and setting the stage for its bicentennial celebrations in 2026. Dr Barrie will be present at the Cannes show to host guided tastings and share insights into her latest creations.

Reflecting on the growing role of lifestyle spirits in driving engagement and incremental growth, Brown-Forman’s redesigned terrace bar will feature Mediterranean-inspired serves from Gin Mare and Diplomático Rum.

Brown-Forman will host the Women in Travel Retail+ networking event at its stand on Tuesday (30 September) at 17:30.
