Mast-Jägermeister SE is expanding its travel retail exclusive range of city-themed bottles to 13 further destinations, bringing the total of SKUs in the range to 25.
The range of 1-litre bottles was previously only available in Gebr Heinemann’s stores, but it is now also available with Dufry and Lagardère Travel Retail. On top of the original 12 destinations, the range now encompasses and is available at the following locations: London (Heathrow, Stansted & Gatwick airports), Düsseldorf, Barcelona, Madrid, Prague, St Petersburg, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires (2 airports), Singapore, Hong Kong, Auckland, Portugal (Lisbon & Porto), and Canary Islands (seven airports).
All the designs depict famous landmarks and a mix of local landmarks and culture. For example, the London bottle features Mary Poppins, umbrella in hand, floating above the London skyline and the Buenos Aires bottle features a couple dancing the tango on a rooftop.
The family-owned maker of the herbal liqueur said the extension of the range showed the company’s increasing focus on travel retail and its in-store presence at the world’s major airports.
Mast-Jägermeister SE Head of Business Development Global Travel Retail Hans Vogt said: “We are delighted with the response by consumers to our City Labels range. Last year they accounted for over 6% of sales and are helping to drive brand premiumisation and incremental sales.”
