
USA. Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) has named Jean-Pierre Tabet as Deputy Executive Director of Commercial Development.
He will play a key role in advancing Los Angeles International Airport’s transformation and enhancing the passenger experience ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
Tabet brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in global aviation, having held senior roles with Ferrovial Airports, Munich Airport and Fraport.
His expertise will support LAWA’s US$30 billion modernisation programme, designed to position Los Angeles International as a premier, world-class airport.
His career highlights include overseeing major airport projects worldwide, from King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia to Cairo International Airport in Egypt.
In the US, he served as Head of Business Development at Fraport USA and later as Managing Director of Munich Airport US, contributing to the development of New Terminal One at New York John F. Kennedy International and the opening of Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport.
