SINGAPORE. Jewel Changi Airport has revealed the winners of its first Fans’ Favourites Awards, showcasing top-voted retail and dining concepts among travellers.
The results were drawn from thousands of entries over a month-long voting campaign, revealing strong demand for both flagship global concepts and homegrown Singaporean brands.

The winning concepts also reflect Jewel’s role as a destination where “the World meets Singapore, and Singapore meets the World”.
Singapore first: homegrown brands that made the list
Five of 14 award categories went to homegrown retailers, highlighting their competitive strength. Jewel’s tenant portfolio, with nearly half Singapore brands, reflects a strong focus on promoting domestic brands on a global stage.

Among the big winners, botanical gelato boutique Birds of Paradise took home two awards for ‘Homegrown Brand (F&B)’ and ‘Order & Go’.

Fashion powerhouse Charles & Keith, with its Jewel flagship, won ‘Homegrown Brand (Retail)’.

Less than a year after opening at the airport complex, Fish & Co. was named F&B Newcomer of the Year.
Multi-location concepts shine

Sportswear giant adidas won the ‘Athleisure’ category and was also recognised for ‘New Concept’ experiences, building on its September launch of a larger, immersive duplex store at Jewel that tripled its footprint.

Popular heritage café Ya Kun Kaya Toast topped the ‘Local/Regional Delights’ category, following its October expansion to meet growing traveller demand for authentic flavours.
Popular global and local brands draw travellers
Regional and global concepts strengthen Jewel’s diverse retail and dining mix, with many of them recognised as top favourites.

Bornean restaurant Kantin won the ‘In-Store Dining Experience’ award for its immersive rainforest-themed setting and signature dishes, including Sarawak Laksa and Rainforest Fried Rice.

Established brands Din Tai Fung (Chinese), Sushiro (Japanese/Korean) and McDonald’s (Western) remain favourites for global dining.

Retail powerhouses also topped the votes, with Apple, Uniqlo and Don Don Donki recognised as favourites in the Lifestyle & Travel, Fashion & Accessories, and Food Retail categories, respectively.

Fresh concepts at Jewel
Updating its retail mix, Jewel welcomed 73 additional stores in 2025, drawing more than 81 million visitors and continuing its strong performance from 2024.
The additions featured 21 first-in-Singapore concepts, from Gwangjang GAON and sportswear brand On, to The Coach Restaurant, alongside 70 event pop-ups throughout the year.
Jewel’s growth continues with the Singapore debut of Korean quick-service restaurant Lotteria and The Gundam Base.

Jewel Changi Airport Development CEO Lee Ching Wern said, “The inaugural Jewel Fans’ Favourite Awards is our way of celebrating and connecting our family of 260 brands with visitors, both of which come together to make Jewel the vibrant lifestyle destination loved by many.
“We are proud to see beloved homegrown brands shining alongside global icons, which brings to life our vision to create a platform where Singapore and the world meet.

“For the coming year, we will continue to have an exciting pipeline of brands arriving in Jewel to be unveiled in the coming months, which will further augment our destination appeal for both local residents and travellers.”
To mark the awards, Jewel is offering visitors special rewards. Shoppers who spend at least S$30 (US$24) at any of the 12 winning brands in a single receipt can claim a S$10 (US$8) Jewel gift voucher, a S$5 (US$4) attractions voucher, and a limited-edition reusable bag created by youths from Metta Welfare Association.
