USA. Airport management company JFKIAT and its concession partners have opened a series of new retail stores at John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 4. The move is part of a continuing expansion that also includes new food & beverage facilities, as reported in recent days.
The new brands include Michael Kors, Coach, Thomas Pink, and Victoria’s Secret, all operated by Dufry-owned Hudson Group. Hugo Boss and Swarovski (operated by Saveria) have also opened, while Travelex has begun trading in the foreign exchange business.
“As the premier international terminal at New York’s JFK Airport, we are thrilled to offer this mix of world-renowned brands to our airlines and their passengers,” said Gert-Jan de Graaff, President and CEO of JFKIAT, LLC. “We are happy to provide retailers who are willing to offer the best names and products in the world right here at JFK’s Terminal 4.”
JFK Terminal 4 is one of the largest air terminals in the New York area, serving 30 international and domestic airlines with an annual passenger volume expected to reach 17 million travellers in 2014. The terminal, which is also home to Delta Air Lines at JFK, is undergoing a major expansion project.
