HAINAN, CHINA. Jo Malone London (The Estée Lauder Companies) has partnered with China Duty Free Group (CDFG) for a whimsical pop-up experience at the cdf Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex Global Beauty Plaza (Block C) in Haitang Bay.

Running from 1-29 July, the colourful animation brings the spirit of the British seaside to Hainan while showcasing the  limited-edition Raspberry Ripple cologne in an immersive setting.

The nostalgic installation invites travellers to experience the joy of a British summer holiday through fragrance, design and interactive elements.

It is dressed in a pastel colour palette and features retro seaside-inspired décor complete with Raspberry Ripple ice cream sculptures, striped awnings, playful seagulls and a Bedford-style ice cream van.

At the heart of the experience is the Raspberry Ripple cologne – a fruity and playful scent reminiscent of raspberry ice cream.

The fragrance offers notes of tart raspberries, redcurrants and soft white musk. At the pop-up, the limited-edition scent is joined by a curated selection of Jo Malone London’s hero colognes, chosen to complement Raspberry Ripple.

Notably, the pop-up features a photo booth where visitors can create personalised postcard selfies, available both digitally and in print. The postcards come with an exclusive Hainan-themed stamp, offering a memorable souvenir for shoppers.

Customers who make a purchase during the activation period can enjoy Jo Malone London’s signature gift-wrapping service and receive themed treats from the Raspberry Ripple range.

In addition, selected purchases come with a scoop of Raspberry Ripple ice cream, served from the on-site vintage Bedford-style ice cream van, rounding out the experience on a sweet note.
