AUSTRALIA. Organic beauty brand Jurlique continues to make good progress in the Americas, with yet more openings planned for 2006.
The company is exhibiting at this month’s IAADFS show in Fort Lauderdale (Booth 2011), in conjunction with its worldwide travel retail agent Escale Group.
In the last quarter of 2005, Jurlique expanded its inflight presence with listings onboard Air Canada and Northwest Airlines. This month, the company is due to launch at New York JFK T7. The brand is also scheduled to enter DFS Galleria Hawaii’s new “Emerging Brands” area.
“Other negotiations are under way to develop Jurlique in airport shops, onboard airlines and cruise ships in North America in 2006,” added Escale President Caroline Cheung.
In other news, Jurlique continues to perform strongly in Asia, and is ranked one among 28 cosmetics references onboard Japan Airlines (up to February this year).
The company recently opened at Beijing International Airport, and has installed a new wall unit at Macau International.
The brand will begin selling onboard British Airways this month, and has been listed by Thai Airways from April.
Jurlique will also be introduced at Singapore Airport’s new Budget Terminal, scheduled to open officially on 26 March.
