SOUTH KOREA. Kenzo Parfums, part of LVMH Beauty, and Lotte Duty Free collaborated on an exclusive VIP event in Seoul from 28-30 August.
The event centred on the art of Ikebana to mark the launch of the Flower Ikebana fragrance, the latest addition to the Flower by Kenzo collection.
The event brought together media KOLs, influencers and over 100 VIP guests at Lotte Duty Free’s Star Lounge within the retailer’s flagship store in Myeong-dong.
The venue was specially arranged to host nine intimate Ikebana workshops, led by celebrity botanical florist So-hee Park. Participants created floral arrangements that reflected the fragrance’s key notes of warm mimosa and Japanese hinoki wood.
The event began with a press briefing for key media and selected influencers, resulting in extensive social media coverage that reached an audience of over 1.9 million.
The workshops, attended by VIP customers, included additional experiences such as flower-themed refreshments and gifts.
Kenzo Parfums General Manager APAC and Travel Retail Ji-Un Han commented: “Flowers are at the heart of Kenzo and were a lifelong passion for our founder Kenzo Takada. They’ve inspired many of our colourful and free-spirited collections and, of course, our scents.”
Kenzo Area Director Marie Park added: “This milestone collaboration with Lotte Duty Free allowed us to connect with a wider audience and deliver an exceptional experience to loyal customers. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, and we hope to have the opportunity to work with Lotte again in the future.” ✈
