Kering Eyewear celebrates Chinese New Year with exclusive Gucci sunglasses

Kering Eyewear has introduced exclusive Gucci sunglasses in travel retail to mark the upcoming Chinese New Year holiday season.

The design features an oversized, squared silhouette in silver galvanic, with the brand’s signature Horsebit motif integrated into the temples.  

The frame incorporates burgundy enamel and matching gradient lenses – a nod to the season’s “celebratory hues”.

For the supporting campaign, art director Riccardo Zanola has combined retro glamour with contemporary design elements.

Kering Eyewear noted: Gucci is embracing the spirit of the Year of the Horse with a dedicated sunglass colour that channels the season’s unique energy while paying homage to the festivities.
