SOUTH KOREA. Korean Air, the world’s leading inflight retailer, has revealed its leading brands by category for July.
The figures highlight the key strength of perennial Korean favourite Ballantine’s, the remarkable strength of Inniskillin Icewine and the strong recent showing of Estée Lauder onboard the Korean national carrier.
Korean Air generated inflight sales of over US$200 million last year.
After a first-quarter sale gain of +5.4% year-on-year, the carrier is on schedule to break that record in 2008, despite the current market slowing of traffic growth.
