Professional Korean tennis player Hyeon Chung has begun a five-year partnership with Lacoste as one of its Brand Ambassadors.
The 19-year-old, who will represent Lacoste on and off the tennis court, began playing tennis at the age of six and entered the world’s top 100 in 2015. Chung was awarded the ATP Most Improved Player award at the end of last year, after climbing over 120 places to 51st in the rankings.

Lacoste said that Chung will provide the brand with great visibility across various tournaments worldwide throughout the year.
“I am very excited about my new partnership with Lacoste,” said Chung. “I have always been a fan of their products and style; the brand carries so much tennis heritage. It is my honour to join the Lacoste team and I look forward to many successes both on and off the tennis courts.”
Lacoste is represented today by more than 100 tennis and golf champions from over 20 different countries. The brand has a strong sponsorship presence of international tennis and golf tournaments such as the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Miami Open and Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.
