MIDDLE EAST. Kreol Travel Retail, in collaboration with US snacking business Kellanova, has secured a listing with Avolta in Sharjah, Kuwait, Jordan and Egypt.
This move aims to expand the presence and visibility of Pringles potato crisps across the region, leveraging Kreol Group’s network and expertise.
Avolta Managing Director Middle East & Egypt Alexandre Tabacoff said: “We are very happy to roll out Pringles across our stores and count a new bestseller product into our Middle East and Egypt stores.”

Pringles – with more than 30 flavours including region-specific variations – is available in over 140 countries, facilitated by the parent company’s vast distribution network.
The saddle-shaped design of the crisps allows neat stacking in the canister, which features the mascot Mr Pringles. The character is recognisable worldwide thanks to its presence on various media channels across television, print and digital.
Kellanova Business Manager – Travel Retail/Duty Free Jacco Douma said: “Kellanova is very happy to partner and establish a close relationship with Avolta in the Middle East region, where we have now opened all the locations with Pringles in partnership with Kreol Group.
“We are convinced to grow the salty category in the Middle East together. Our Pringles range’s first sell-out figures are very promising.

“We look forward to a bright future, serving our consumers and customers with the crispy and high-premium Pringles chips together with Avolta.”
Kreol Group CEO Lal Arakulath also expressed his gratitude to the Avolta team for their support. ✈
