Kreol debuts Petit Gourmet Pistachio Kunafa Chocolate at King Khalid Airport with Lagardère

SAUDI ARABIA. Kreol Travel Retail has partnered with Lagardère Travel Retail to roll out Pistachio Kunafa Chocolate under the Petit Gourmet brand at King Khalid International Airport, gateway to Riyadh.

The new listing at Riyadh Duty Free builds on the brand’s momentum in the region, following its successful launch at Abu Dhabi Duty Free in early July.

Tapping into regional flavour trends, Petit Gourmet’s Dubai Chocolate brings a Middle Eastern twist to the popular duty-free confectionery offer

Drawing on the popularity of Dubai-inspired chocolate, Pistachio Kunafa Chocolate is developed exclusively for travel retail in a 470g sharing format, a shift from impulse-sized packs.

Petit Gourmet, known in travel retail for its Mediterranean sweets including premium baklavas, is part of BMB Group.

BMB is in turn a division of Agthia Group, a leading Abu Dhabi-based food & beverage conglomerate backed by ADQ, one of the region’s largest holding companies with diversified investments across key sectors.

Kreol Travel Retail represents the Agthia brand portfolio exclusively in the channel.

Kreol Group Executive Director Kreol Arakulath said, “Expanding the Dubai chocolate offering into Riyadh with Lagardère signals a new chapter for homegrown innovation in the region and the first launch for our bars in Saudi Travel Retail.

“The success of our launch in Abu Dhabi showed the demand for thoughtfully executed local flavours in travel retail in reimagined formats. We’re delighted to now bring that same elevated experience to Saudi travellers.”

Lagardère Travel Retail Saudi Arabia CEO Mélanie Guilldou added, “Partnering with Kreol team to introduce Petit Gourmet’s standout chocolate to Riyadh Duty Free reflects our commitment to showcasing regional excellence. This launch sets the stage for a new wave of destination-driven products that surprise and delight our passengers.”
