KrisShop extends online shopping incentives with latest promotion

SINGAPORE. Omnichannel retailer has launched its latest promotion to encourage consumer spending across a range of products, including duty paid liquor, beauty, home décor and electronics.

Its new campaign, which runs from 12 to 26 May, offers shoppers three KrisFlyer miles for every S$1 spent, up from the previous 1.5 KrisFlyer miles for every S$1 spent.

KrisShop has also partnered with American Express (AMEX) to offer card members the opportunity to earn 500 bonus miles with S$180 net spend, or 1,000 bonus miles with S$350 net spend.

Shoppers that use American Express Singapore Airlines credit cards are usually awarded two miles for every S$1 spent on KrisShop. The promotion offers up to seven miles per dollar spent on upon achieving the minimum spend to attain bonus miles.

In addition, KrisShop has lowered the minimum spend required for free local delivery, from S$100 to S$50.

KrisShop is a three-way joint venture between Singapore Airlines (70%), Miami-based travel retailer 3Sixty Duty Free (15%) and ground services provider SATS (15%) formed in March 2018. As revealed by The Moodie Davitt in an on location report on 21 August 2019, KrisShop was relaunched as a fully-fledged omnichannel ecommerce and lifestyle portal – a capability that seems sure to serve it well given the current travel restrictions into and through Singapore.
