La Prairie unveils new Mask Collection – 06/12/04

SWITZERLAND. La Prairie has released a trio of spa-strength, fast-action masks, for use at home.

The Swiss Cellular Mask Collection comprises three intensive treatments, each designed to remedy a specific condition. The products are colour-coded for ease of use.

All contain La Prairie’s patented, exclusive Cellular Complex, which stimulates the skin’s own natural repair process, according to the company.

The Cellular Energizing Mask is recommended for use as a refreshing morning wake-up, or an end-of-day revitalising pick-up. It features a lightly whipped cream/gel consistency, and is said to de-stress, invigorate and stimulate tired skin.

The Cellular Hydralift Firming Mask is claimed to deliver deep hydration and nourishment to reinforce the skin’s moisture barrier, thereby improving skin tone and producing a noticeable firming/lifting action.

In addition, intense humectants soothe and heal the skin, prevent water loss and minimise the appearance of rough, reddened skin resulting from hormonal imbalances, environmental extremes or stress.

The Cellular Deep Cleansing Mask is said to rid the skin of impurities and stimulate exfoliation to refine the skin’s texture, reduce the appearance of pores, discourage blemishes and improve smoothness and clarity.

The masks are designed to be used alternatively, and can be applied up to three times a week.

The recommended domestic price points are about US$125 each.
