AUSTRIA. Lagardère Travel Retail has opened what it says is the world’s first Pez monobrand store at Vienna International Airport.
The 10sq m store is located in Terminal 2 and stocks a range of Pez candies and dispensers, as well as decorative tin boxes, gift sets, fruit gum products and dextrose and fizzy candies in different flavours. The candies are also available sugar-free and as seasonal offers.
According to the retailer, the store design reflects the Pez style, with a bright colour scheme and walls decorated with stylised sherbets in different colours.
“The enthusiasm of the team for the colourful product range is palpable and infecting the customers,” said Lagardère Travel Retail Site Manager at Vienna Airport Ursula Fürnhammer.
Flughafen Wien CEO Mag. Julian Jäger commented: “We are very pleased to present the world’s first PEZ monobrand store. With its unique assortment the shop offers a great addition to the existing range at Vienna International Airport and creates another attraction for passengers of all ages.”
Lagardère Travel Retail now has 18 different store concepts at the airport.
