AUSTRALIA. Lagardère Services Asia Pacific has partnered with Belgian chocolatier Godiva to open the first stand-alone Godiva boutique in Australia.
The new 65sqm boutique will be located at Sydney International Airport T1 as part of the A$500 million terminal redevelopment. Due to open in October 2009, the boutique will follow Godiva’s Modern Allure design concept and will be positioned alongside other luxury branded stores in the Forum area of the terminal.
The boutique will feature the full range of Godiva’s travel retail products including gift boxes as well as a chocolate counter, Chocolixir and dipping offers. Godiva is also planning to introduce its Hot Chocolixir drinks.

Godiva Chocolatier was founded 80 years ago in Belgium and today has more than 450 boutiques and shops worldwide.
Lagardère Services Asia Pacific General Manager – Australia Luc Mansion said: “We are delighted to be working with Godiva on the first store to open in Australia. It is the perfect location to embark on this new development at Australia’s busiest airport.
