JAPAN. Lagardère Travel Retail Japan today opened its latest ‘Made in Pierre Hermé’ retail and F&B concept at Fukuoka Airport’s Domestic Terminal. Pierre Hermé is a contemporary F&B concept created by the renowned pâtissier of the same name.
The retailer had previously opened a Pierre Hermé pop-up store at Fukuoka Airport last August. That followed the opening of its first ‘Made in Pierre Hermé’ retail and F&B concept at railway hub Tokyo Station the same month.
Lagardère Travel Retail Japan Vice President Operations Nicolas Savary said (via LinkedIn): “Building on the success of the Tokyo Station and Kichijoji stores, we teamed up again with Pierre Hermé Japan to offer the best selection of exceptional patisserie creations to the epicureans of the Kyushu area.
“The store also showcases a carefully curated offer of groceries, produced in collaboration with some of the best food producers from all around Japan. The brand’s value is to support the local agriculture, the promotion of artisanal food production and stimulate the production of excellent quality products.”
