ITALY. Lagardère Travel Retail has unveiled its latest venue for Italian café concept Rustichelli & Mangione in Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport’s new departures area. The contract runs until January 2031.
The 130sqm landside café offers croissants, paninis, pizzas, salads and a variety of Italian desserts alongside 26 different coffee options.
The café – which also has a to-go offer – offers 36 seating places, including seven tables for up to four people, nine workstation seats and three high-top tables with seats at the front of the bar.
Lagardère Travel Retail Director of Operations Foodservice – Italy Alessandro Scandroglio told The Moodie Davitt Report: “We are excited about this new opening at the airport in Bologna, which we consider strategic for our business. This will provide Lagardère Travel Retail and our Rustichelli & Mangione format with not only considerable visibility but also great prestige, as it is associated with a place of significant transit and importance.
“We are confident that our customers will be able to enjoy and appreciate a gastronomic experience of the highest quality, thanks to products and recipes that celebrate the best of Italian tradition.”
