Airport Dimensions unveils enhanced Connecta+ platform to deliver integrated digital airport ecosystem

INTERNATIONAL. Travel experience player Airport Dimensions has partnered with technology and analytics firm GrayMatter to launch advancements to its digital platform Connecta+.

Connecta+ is described as an “advanced platform” designed to seamlessly integrate airport digital services, lounges and commercial opportunities – including restaurants, retail, duty free, parking, premium services and ground transportation – into a single, intelligent ecosystem.

Airport Dimensions said the solution has been crafted to enables airports to unlock new revenue streams by boosting spend per passenger, deepening traveller relationships and expanding non-aeronautical income.

It is designed to enhance engagement and optimise experience across every airport traveller touchpoint, with the aim of reinforcing Airport Dimensions’ leadership in delivering integrated physical and digital airport experiences.

Research from Airport Dimensions’ recent Explore the Experience Era report highlights that 93% of airports see customisable real-time journey support as a priority.

However, 38% cite fragmented digital ecosystems – such as multiple competing apps and disjointed services – as a key challenge.

The report concluded that without a unified strategy and platform, airports risk inefficiencies, lower engagement and missed commercial opportunities.

Future-proofing the passenger experience is also top of mind, with 47% of airport leaders stating that a fully integrated, end-to-end journey platform will be essential within the next decade.

With this in mind, Airport Dimensions noted Connecta+ delivers a unified, data-driven airport ecosystem, simplifying the traveller journey through AI-powered wayfinding, real-time updates, personalised recommendations and enhanced lounge services.
