
CHINA. Lancôme Travel Retail Asia Pacific hosted a successful Lunar New Year collaboration in Hainan with Sofitel, the Accor Group-owned hotel chain considered as a global ambassador of modern French art de vivre.
Together the parties created an enticing beauty experience for guests staying at the Sofitel Haikou and Sofitel Sanya hotels in the island province. The collaboration ran from 24 January to 28 February.
The beauty brand’s ‘Create happiness everywhere you go’ campaign was brought to life through a series of premium services, from hi-tech skin analysis and in-room samples to a gastronomy experience.

The beauty journey centred on Lancôme’s Lunar New Year limited-edition star product, Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate.
The bottle design of the Lunar New Year limited-edition Advanced Génifique Serum paid tribute to the Beijing opera ‘DAN’ (the female role) face makeup by reinterpreting some of its most famous codes with femininity, modernity and impact.

The guests’ beauty journey began upon arrival at their rooms with in-room samples featuring Lancôme products. They also had the chance to enter a Lancôme X Sofitel lucky prize draw.
Embracing the ‘art of wellness’, guests were invited to immerse themselves in a sensorial experience of Lancôme’s premium skincare franchise Absolue, featuring a 30-60 minute personalised skincare journey.

The luxurious service was located at Sofitel’s Signature Spa and featured an in-depth digital skin analysis with Lancôme Skin Screen, personalised product recommendations and the signature Absolue hand massage.
Fusing the French heritage of Lancôme and Sofitel Hotels, a French-inspired gastronomy experience was brought to life by a Lancôme Lunar New Year afternoon tea set. This was artfully enriched with unique Hainan ingredients, flavours and recipes.
