Lancôme gives a make-over to Teint Idole – 19/09/05

FRANCE. Lancôme has updated its Teint Idole foundation with a new version, Teint Idole Ultra. It is being rolled out this month to European and US travel retail markets.

The long-lasting, smear-free make-up is said to provide a full 14 hours of wear, without the need for retouching. The foundation texture is described as soft and smooth; the coverage supple and silky to avoid a “mask-like” effect.

The key ingredient is the dual effect Fix’n Soft complex. Its Colour Keeper pigments settle on the skin like little magnets, to form a highly resistant tinted mesh.

Once the volatile oils have evaporated, pigments coated with a protective film melt in with the skin, leaving no trace on clothes, Lancôme claims.

In addition, Soft Liquid spherical powders deliver airy, transparent, natural-looking coverage that is comfortable and allows skin to breathe.

The formulation is oil-free and contains an SPF10.

Teint Idole Ultra is presented in a new, pump application glass bottle.

The recommended domestic price is €35.
