Lancôme has created a new treatment range for oily skin, called Pure Focus. It is available now in European and US travel retail markets, and will be rolled out to Asia in June.
Around 15% of western women – and up to 40% of Asian women – suffer from oily skin, according to Lancôme.
The range comprises two programmes – one moisturising and one anti-ageing – in order to meet the needs of all women. Both encompass three essential routines for greater effectiveness. The result is matte skin that is cleansed, purified, moisturised and visibly rejuvenated, according to the company.
The Pure Focus line includes a 125ml Deep Purifying Cleansing Gel (recommended travel retail price €17.80). This features micro-beads for mild exfoliating and a deep-down clean. This should be followed by the 200ml Matifying Purifying Lotion (€19.20), which tightens pores.
Next comes the moisturising phase, in the form of either Moisturising Lotion Perfect Long-Lasting Shine Control, or the Anti-Ageing Matifying Cream-Gel.
Lastly, Pure Focus includes two complementary products: a cleansing masque which delivers a sauna effect; and a T-Zone Instant Matifying Powder Gel, for use on the forehead, nose and chin. These retail at €27.50 and €22, respectively.
