Leonidas celebrates Chinese New Year with praline gift box

Belgian chocolatier Leonidas has created a limited-edition festive gift box of premium pralines in celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year.

Chinese New Year 2015 falls on 19 February, starting the Year of the Goat and, according to Leonidas, for those born in previous years of the goat (1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003) 2015 is considered an auspicious year.

The 140g gift box contains 16 chocolates decorated with a goat or a lucky Chinese symbol

The red Chinese New Year gift box (140g) is decorated with the golden outline of a goat. It contains 16 chocolates – eight milk and eight dark chocolate pralines filled with a Sao Tomé ganache filling – which are decorated either with a goat or a lucky Chinese symbol.

“Fabricated from premium quality, natural ingredients, including 100% cocoa butter, and alcohol-free, Leonidas pralines make a welcome gift for people of all ages and cultures to celebrate special occasions or to be enjoyed simply as a delicious treat,” the brand stated.
