Lifetrons to undergo rebranding and major expansion in 2013

Swiss electronics and accessories company Lifetrons is looking forward to an exciting new year, with a newly redesigned logo and major plans to expand into new markets in the coming year.

Rebrand

The new logo (pictured) comes as part of a rebranding exercise for 2013, Lifetrons Creative Director Alynn Lutz told The Moodie Report.

“We have a new logo and a new marketing approach for 2013, which is being integrated into all of our new products. Much of our advertising will feature beautiful Swiss mountain scenery – a new look for our new logo,” Lutz said.

Lifetrons is also about to open a new flagship store in the company’s hometown of St Gallen. “There will be surely more stores to come in the future,” Lutz added.

New Markets

2013 will also see Lifetrons expanding in Asia, Europe and South America. According to Lutz, a lot of the company’s new business is down to its strategy at October’s TFWA World Exhibition of targeting the entire travel retail industry rather than just airlines, which were its previous focus.

“Cannes was great for us,” said Lutz. “We met with a lot of current customers and built on our existing relationships and also met a lot of new customers. The new customers we met in Cannes this year have led to a lot of deals around the globe, and Lifetrons products will now be seen in many more duty free shops on the ground in airports.”

Awards

Despite being a relatively new company at around five years old, Lifetrons has started winning awards for its innovations that provide “˜Enhanced Mobility for People on the Move’. Its small, high quality and original electronics and accessories are aimed at “refined travellers all over the world”.

Lifetrons products have so far won three iF Design awards for 2013 and the DrumBass III BT Bluetooth Speaker has been nominated for an award in the “˜Best New Product’ category for the 2013 DFNI Product Awards.

Lutz said: “It is a very exciting time at Lifetrons and much is happening all at once.”
