UK. Loch Lomond Group has partnered with World Duty Free (Avolta) to offer an exclusive single cask bottling available only in selected UK duty free locations.
Launched this month, only 256 bottles of the Single Cask 748 Loch Lomond 2009 edition are available at Avolta’s World Duty Free stores at Heathrow, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports.
The Single Cask 748 Loch Lomond 2009 edition is 58.7% ABV with an RRP of £95.99. The single malt was aged in a refill American oak hogshead cask. On the nose, it offers juicy pear and sweet cream vanilla cream with fresh apricot and zesty lemon notes.
On the palate it offers flavours of candied ginger and toffee apple with a warm oak spice and orange juice finish.
Loch Lomond Distillery won the ‘Most Awarded Distillery’ accolade at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2023, where it picked up multiple Double Gold and Gold Awards for its malt whisky brands.
