PORTUGAL. The new international terminal at Lisbon Airport opened yesterday, featuring a 256sq m “˜Travelshopping’ store operated by Lojas Francas de Portugal (LFP).
LFP is a joint venture between Portuguese national airline TAP Portugal and The Nuance Group.
The new Terminal 2 represents an investment of €18 million and is designed to serve two million passengers per year.
The Travelshopping store in T2 presents a range of tax free products, including fragrances and cosmetics, wines and spirits, a Portuguese delicatessen, consumer technology and gifts.
LFP has seven Lisbon Airport stores – Travelshopping T1, a Luxury Boutique, a Swatch kiosk, Travelshopping Gates 123, Travelshopping Last Minute, Chocolate Box & World of Fun and Travelshopping T2.
LFP is the leading airport and inflight retailer in Portugal. The company is present in Lisbon, Oporto, Faro and Azores airports, with 17 stores.

ABOUT LISBON AIRPORT TERMINAL 2
Occupying a total area of 7,700sq m, Terminal 2 can process nearly 66 daily departures and a total of 5,000 passengers, a quarter of whom are transfers.
The waiting area in the Boarding Lounge has a capacity to seat 480 passengers, including a space dedicated to restaurants and shops.
