London Gatwick retail refresh advances with a first from Pandora

UK. Jewellery brand Pandora extended its travel retail footprint with the opening of a boutique at London Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal on 15 August. It is a first outlet for the brand at a London airport and its second in the UK.

Located after security, the boutique showcases Pandora’s full collections, featuring accessible luxury jewellery crafted from recycled gold and silver.

The store invites passengers to explore travel-themed charms and the popular ‘Best of British’ line, with an engraving service available to create meaningful keepsakes.

The opening supports London Gatwick’s vision “to be the airport for everyone”, expanding its diverse retail mix and offering travellers more options and personalisation.

London Gatwick will roll out further retail and food & beverage openings in the months ahead, starting with the airport debut of GAIL’s Bakery in September.

Pandora’s latest boutique is part of a £7.5 million (US$10.1 million) upgrade to the South Terminal departure lounge, set to be completed next month.

Enhancements to the terminal include improved lighting, increased seating capacity, dedicated quiet zones and a relocated Assisted Travel Lounge designed to support accessibility and relaxation.

London Gatwick Head of Retail Stephane Geffroy said: “Pandora is a fantastic addition to our South Terminal. The brand’s global popularity and iconic collections offer our passengers something special – whether it’s a last-minute gift, a personal treat, or a holiday-inspired keepsake.

“This new store enhances the retail experience and supports our wider ambition to give passengers more choice, inspiration and excitement on their journey through London Gatwick.”

Pandora UK & Ireland Sales Director Ross Monaghan added: “We’re incredibly proud to open our standalone airport store at London Gatwick – our second in the UK – the busiest single-runway airport in the world.

“With over 43 million travellers passing through in 2024, this store presents a fantastic opportunity to connect with a truly global audience, offering meaningful pieces to mark their journey or celebrate a special moment.

“From spontaneous self-purchases to thoughtful gifting, our aim is to meet every traveller with our full Pandora collection – from iconic charms to Lab-Grown Diamonds, the Pandora Essence range and, of course, our engraving services.

“Customers can personalise their jewellery in minutes with symbols, initials, or even handwritten messages, creating a unique keepsake to remember their travels.”
