ARGENTINA. Duty Free Shop Puerto Iguazú and Fundación Grupo London Supply last weekend hosted ‘Batuque Circular’, an educational music event that combined the energy of a live batucada (a style of Brazilian samba) with a powerful message about caring for the planet.
The show, which included more than ten performances, underlined London Supply’s ESG credentials while encouraging a sense of environmental responsibility among children in a creative and playful way.

The musicians who took art (see also video below) used instruments made from recycled materials, transforming what could be considered waste into a source of rhythm and fun.
This initiative practically promoted the philosophy of reduce, reuse and recycle to demonstrate how caring for the planet is possible through ingenuity and creativity.

The event aligned with the mission of Fundación Grupo London Supply, part of the Corporate Social Responsibility programme of London Supply Group, which runs the border duty free store.
Guided by the motto ‘Putting more where there is less’, the Foundation works in Argentina and Uruguay to improve the quality of life in local communities. The event reflected the group’s commitment to education and its vision of generating a positive impact in its communities and promoting a more sustainable future.
London Supply Group Director of Sustainability and Strategic Communication María Taratuty said: “Batuque Circular is an example of how music, art and social commitment can unite to create unforgettable experiences while educating the new generations.
“Through these types of events, we seek to create synergy between the high-level experiences that already characterise our international duty-free shop and the mission of our Foundation, inspiring children and young people to connect with caring for the planet in a creative and practical way.”
