CARIBBEAN. Oscar Pedrosa, the long-time Aldeasa executive and one of the most respected figures in the Americas and Caribbean travel retail industry, has joined Dufry.
Dufry CEO Julián Diaz told The Moodie Report today that Pedrosa has been named General Manager for the company’s new Puerto Rico operation (following the recent acquisition of the Bared business) and Deputy CEO for Region 4 – Americas & Caribbean. He will report to Regional Chief Operating Officer José Gonzalez.
Region 4 accounts for all operations in Bolivia, the Caribbean, Mexico, Nicaragua and the US.
Pedrosa was previously International Operations Deputy Manager for Spanish travel retailer Aldeasa.
