SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has partnered with Shinhan Bank to roll out a special travel check card designed to drive spending among Korean customers preparing for overseas trips during the upcoming Chuseok (16-18 September) and Golden Week (first week of October) holidays.
From 12 September to 30 November, the travel retailer will be running a promotional campaign for Shinhan SOL Travel Check Card users to enjoy a range of benefits and shopping discounts. These include LDF membership gold-level upgrade and a -9% discount through partnership points.
In addition, eligible card users will receive KRW10,000 (US$7.50) for purchases of US$30 or more at its downtown stores. KRW10,000 (US$7.50) worth of Lotte mobile vouchers will be offered each month on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lotte Duty Free has prepared a variety of promotions for customers, including a special double gift event at their downtown stores.
Until 18 September, customers have the opportunity to receive rewards up to KRW1.44 million (US$1,075) depending on the payment method used.
Customers who spend more than US$300 at Lotte Duty Free stores before 3 November will also qualify to enter a lucky draw for a chance to win a two-night stay at Galaxy Macau and a round-trip ticket with Air Macau.
As reported, Lotte Duty Free will run a Duty Free Day on its online platform, showcasing more than 400 brands and 10,000 products at discounts of up to -70% until the end of this month.
A Lotte Duty Free official said: “We have prepared a travel check card partnership event with Shinhan Bank for domestic customers travelling abroad during the Golden Week holiday and Lotte Duty Free plans to continue to present various promotions that will benefit customers.” ✈
