SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has launched its online shopping festival targeting Korean customers preparing to travel ahead of the Chuseok Golden Week (16-18 September).
The campaign, which kicked off today and runs throughout September, offers discounts of up to -70% on 400 participating brands across various categories.
Among the popular brands joining the shopping event include Estée Lauder, Tom Ford Beauty and Jo Malone from The Estée Lauder Companies and SK-II.
Customers can also enjoy discounts on Japanese premium sake brand Dassai, Orthomol nutritional medicine products and Pulio massagers.
The travel retailer is featuring a ‘Weekly Hot Deal’ during the campaign period, showcasing 30 new products offered at reasonable prices every week.
Shoppers can enjoy up to -70% discount on products selected by Lotte Duty Free buyers in the ‘MD’s Pick’ event. Offers include 2024 Fall/Winter fashion items, whisky, jewellery and eyewear.
To celebrate Chuseok, one of South Korea’s most important holidays, gifting options are available to customers at a -60% discount.
The campaign also includes interactive events such as roulette promotions, offering shoppers a 100% chance of winning prize giveaways.
Participants can receive random rewards, including LDF Pay worth KRW30,000 (US$22), special points and additional points, all of which can be used on the same day.
In addition, one Kakao Pay user whose purchases exceed US$200 will get a chance to win a Fred necklace worth KRW7 million (US$5,244) in a lucky draw.
Each week, Lotte Duty Free will provide additional benefits through affiliate payment companies. These include up to KRW10,000 (US$7.50) instant discount for purchases worth more than KRW250,000 (US$222) using Kakao Pay.
Customers who spend over KRW50,000 (US$46) with Kakao Pay X Hana Card will receive an additional -5% discount from 9-15 September.
From 16-22 September, Naver Pay users whose purchases are worth over KRW200,000 (US$150) will receive Naver Pay points. Additional discounts will be given to Lotte Card users from 23-30 September.
