Lotte Duty Free names Ju Nam Kim as CEO replacing Kap Lee

SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free, the country’s number one travel retailer by sales and world number two*, has appointed Kim Ju Namas CEO, effective 19 December. He replaces Kap Lee who had held the position since 1 January 2019. Lee has been named Head of Communication Department at Lotte Group.

Kim joined Hotel Lotte Co in June 1995, graduating to a series of senior positions in the intervening 27 and a half years.

In February 2014 he was appointed Head of Main Store (Lotte Duty Free’s flagship in Myeong-dong, Seoul), becoming Head of Jeju Store in June the following year.

In March 2017, Kim was named Head of Business Support Division and in July 2021 he was promoted to Head of Korea Business Group.

Ju Nam Kim will be focused on driving Lotte Duty Free’s recovery at home (the flagship Myeong-dong, Seoul location pictured above) and abroad in key locations such as Singapore Changi Airport (directly below) and Vietnam (the new Da Nang store is pictured)
