US. Next month sees the launch of MAC’s adult-targeted beauty project with the Barbie fashion doll. The collaboration marks the first time that Barbie has partnered with an adult prestige cosmetics company (see earlier story).
The Barbie Loves MAC Spring ’07 colour collection comprises a selection of make-up items in classic black casing with the Barbie icon in hot pink debossed onto the product.
The line comprises eyeshadows, eyeliners, powder blush, lip gloss, powder, nail lacquer and brushes. Shades include bright candy pink, buttercup yellows and warm greens.

Also available is a Mini-Barbie Loves MAC limited-edition make-up set comprising a a black nylon/wool fabric case with pink stitching detail on the outside and matching pink lining on the inside. Also featured on the outside is a small pink-on-black vinyl medallion showing the classic Barbie silhouette.
Another key product is the MAC Barbie Doll dressed in a mix of patterns, colours, and textures. Her main accessory is the MAC Makeup Case.
