MAC Cosmetics has collaborated with one of South America’s best-regarded lifestyle bloggers to create the eponymous Julia Petit collection (pictured). The limited-edition line is available now in selected travel retail locations worldwide.
The collection aims to reflect Petit’s “brazen approach to style and make-up artistry”. According to the brand, the products channel the exotic women and urban landscape of São Paulo, in sun-kissed hues to help consumers channel their inner Brazilian bombshell.
The lip offer features Lipstick, Lipglass and and Liquidlast Liner in shades such as Boca (soft pink nude), Açai (vivid deep violet) and Purpurine (sheer peach shimmer). Eye shadow duos are offered in colourways that include Mumu and Noite (matte soft brown and pearlised black).
Other items are a Powder Blush in Linda (soft pink bronze), Prep + Prime Powder and Pink Rebel Lustre Drops.
In other news, MAC has created new Lip Pencil shades to mirror exactly its best-selling lipsticks, such as Girl About Town and Impassioned. Lastly the brand has introduced a waterproof version of its Haute & Naughty mascara, featuring the original’s same “dual-wiper” system and rich pigment, within a formula that is tear-proof and humidity-resistant.
