UK. MAC has strengthened its presence in Scottish airports with two new openings. As previously reported, on 21 October the brand opened a 57sq m dual concept store at Edinburgh Airport, with Jo Malone. Retail partner World Duty Free (WDF) described the shop as a “real first” and a “huge draw” for customers.

Last month also saw the opening of a MAC Studio at Glasgow Airport. The store covers 27sq m, and is located in the heart of the terminal, for maximum visibility. Over 800 items from the MAC portfolio are available, as well as specially designed travel retail sets.
MAC is known worldwide for its catwalk trends and stand-out colours, inspired by the brand’s PRO team who create runway looks and work behind the scenes with film, TV, theatre and performing arts communities all over the globe.
The Glasgow Airport store is staffed by MAC make-up artists who demonstrate techniques, assist travellers in discovering new products and impart expert information on international make-up trends, according to the brand.
