Grand Macnish: Special edition marks 150th anniversary |
MacDuff International will mark the 150th anniversary of Grand Macnish Scotch whisky with the launch of a special edition at TFWA World Exhibition.
Grand Macnish has been in continuous production since its creation in 1863, making it one of the oldest blended Scotch whiskies still on the market today. At the time, Glasgow merchant Robert McNish wanted to create a lighter, smoother type of Scotch compared to the harsh whiskies of the day.
Today Grand Macnish is sold in over 50 markets worldwide. The 150th Anniversary Edition is said to maintain the traditional balance of the blend, while the signature 6-pinch bottle has changed little in 100 years, according to the company.
“MacDuff International aims to continue Robert’s proud heritage, maintaining Grand Macnish’s distinctive presentation and distinctive taste,” said the company.
Customers will be able to see and order the new presentation at Cannes, stand L56 Green Village.
