UK. MAC Cosmetics’ latest Viva Glam campaign – Viva Glam VI – launches this month fronted by a quartet of what the company describes as ‘astonishing women’: Debbie Harry, Dita Von Teese (pictured), Eve and Lisa Marie Presley.
The Viva Glam Lipstick and Lipglass, with shades updated annually, are the primary fund-raising products benefiting the MAC Aids Fund, to which 100% of the selling price is donated.
Established in 1994, the Fund has contributed more than US$70 million worldwide to organisations that provide programmes, services and care for people infected and affected by HIV/Aids.
This year’s lipstick is a warm terracotta-plum, cast with a pearl finish. The matching gloss is a subtle terracotta-peach and pearl blend.

In other news, MAC has introduced Plushglass, a high-shine, sheer-coverage lip gloss that creates fuller-looking lips using key plumping ingredients.
The formula is moisturising and is described as comfortable to wear. Key ingredients include soybean and liquorice extracts, and lemon oil.
Plushglass, available in 12 shades, is rolling out this month in travel retail worldwide.
Also new for September is a trio of zipped Fall Trend Bags. These sport a crinkle-finish black vinyl texture, complete with a circular MAC zip pull.
The bags are available in three sizes: mini, slim and small.
